By attaching the CamVac System to an isolated pipe and applying a controlled vacuum from the included pump, you’ll draw air into a water filled line, or saturation into an empty pipe and see, without question, where the leak is in the pipe using the Held Video Pro Camera from LeakTronics. It takes just a small amount of vacuum – just 1-3 lbs – and the crack, leak or break in the line is revealed. You’ll see the turbulence in the fluid of a water filled line before you get to the leak – and when you do, you’ll see the extent of the damage in the line and be able to diagnose it instantly.
Using the meter counter or LeakTronics Sonde Technologies, you will know just where the leak is underground. You can identify the precise location of the leak and reduce invasive techniques for making the repair by knowing right where digging needs to take place.
